Participating in extracurricular activities during your academic journey can be an enriching experience that goes beyond textbooks and classrooms. Being part of an assembly students explore their interests, engage with like-minded individuals, and develop crucial skills that foster personal and professional growth.

Student organizations offer a unique opportunity to connect and build relationships with fellow students who share similar interests, but also with teachers or management stuff, that allow members to develop and hone their leadership abilities.

Because being a member in an organization inside school means you become a voice for your class-mates, the first step to get here is to submit your application and to start gathering votes. Classmates may have more options for choosing their spokesman, so if you want to be elective, you should gain the sense of community and listen to other’s ideas and needs.

Once you’ve been chosen, you become a member and you can hold a formal position or take on responsibilities within the organization. These experiences provide a practical foundation for future leadership roles, helping you stand out in academic, professional, and personal settings.

Student assemblies cover a wide range of interests, including academic subjects, hobbies, sports, cultural activities, and community services. Joining a student organization allows you to delve deeper into your passions and explore new interests. This exploration not only helps you discover your strength and talents but also provides opportunities for your mates’ fulfillment and expression.

At JUST 4 KIDS GREEN CAMPUS students from all secondary level classes are included in the most important debate forums at school level, so that the decisions taken by those in charge are based on the needs and interests of the primary beneficiaries.

The most recent decisions voted in our students’ council were:

– Carrying out as many outdoor lessons as possible

– Casual Friday – the day in which students and teachers are encouraged to let their uniform at home and dress casually

– A school radio – with breaking news from school life but also fun facts, trending music and a rubric called “Did you know…?”

– More projects, fewer tests

By joining these extracurricular activities, you can build networks, develop leadership skills, enhance personal growth, explore your interests, boost your resume, and create lasting memories and friendships. So, step out of your comfort zone, get involved, and unleash your potential through the diverse opportunities offered by student organizations.
